Angela Chalk is the Executive Director of Healthy Community Services in New Orleans, an organization that helps residents grow their understanding about how coastal land loss and flood risk impacts communities. She serves on the American Public Health Climate Health & Equity Advisory Board and is a Past President of the Louisiana Public Health Association. She enjoys cooking traditional creole dishes with crops grown at Healthy Community Services Urban Green Infrastructure Farm.
Dr. Marcus Coleman seeks to foster healthy, strong, and sustainable community food systems that are inclusively beneficial to all, economically, socially, environmentally, and politically. He has extensive experience working at 1862 and 1890 land-grant universities and has been deeply involved working with a statewide farmer-led peer networking and mentoring collaborative in Louisiana. Dr. Coleman currently serves as a Visiting Assistant Professor for Strategy, Leadership, and Analytics in the Tulane University School of Liberal Arts.
